Today would have been the day, fuelled by coffee, when we would have scrubbed up to welcome the first guests to our biggest display to date in the Grand Pavilion of the @RHSChelsea flower show. We’ll miss seeing you at the show this year, so we thought we’d take the opportunity for our founder @rosebiemorton to show you around our Hampshire farm.
We’ve created a special seasonal Chelsea bouquet, using our homegrown English flowers and foliage, in honour of the occasion and we’re going to be making a donation from each bouquet sold to @thetherapygarden. We’ve seen first hand through this time the joy flowers bring to people’s lives, so we wanted to support a charity that promotes positive change through gardening.
Rosebie is picking the ingredients for our Chelsea bouquet from our sustainable Hampshire farm. These include Vibrunum Opulus (Guelder Rose), Mint, Solomon’s Seal, Thlaspi and Sweet Rocket. The flowers and foliage are hand-tied with scented roses, from our second English farm near Chichester, by our florist Amanda in our farm workshop. We’ve chosen a colour palette of green and white for this year’s Chelsea bouquet to evoke a sense of reassurance and purity. As you’d expect from us, this bouquet is also brimming with glorious scent. #mychelseagarden
