May Birthday Bouquet
May's official birth flower of the month is Lily of the Valley, boasting tiny white flowers that signify humility, purity and the return of happiness. Unfortunately, Lily of the Valley stems are very short, so we can't use it in our birthday bouquet. Instead, our multi award-winning Head Florist, Jay Archer drew on it for inspiration. Keeping to a palette of white and green, with a touch of blush pink, Jay designed this bouquet using English flowers that you might find in your garden right now such as Solomon’s Seal, Jacob’s Ladder, Sweet Peas, Hesperis and pale green stems of Euphorbia. She then added silver and green foliage and fragrant herbs – Hazel, Senecio, Rosemary and Sage. We think the result is fabulous and are sure this bouquet would make anyone smile on their birthday!Stem Substitutions
Please note that whilst we cannot 100% guarantee the colours or varieties shown (sometimes we have to make substitutions due to mother nature), we will ensure your flowers are just as beautiful, fresh and that your recipient loves them!.
Our English Tulips have now finished for the season and will be substituted with another stem.
