The Vassio Meggos dahlia is a stunning, elegant variety with a distinct appearance. It features large, semi-cactus-shaped flowers with long, pointed petals that radiate outward in a star-like formation. The blooms are a striking blend of deep purple to magenta tones, with the outer edges of the petals often fading into a soft lavender or pale pink. This creates a beautiful ombre effect, adding to its visual appeal.
The flowers are typically about 4–6 inches in diameter and stand on strong, sturdy stems, making them ideal for floral arrangements and cutting. The Vassio Meggos variety blooms profusely throughout the summer and into the fall, offering a long-lasting display of colour.
As with most dahlias, Vassio Meggos thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. The plant can reach around 3 to 4 feet in height, making it a striking addition to any garden. We can deliver the next day, on most orders, if it is placed on our website, or by telephone, by 4pm. We deliver 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday.
