How to make a wreath
Our founder and flower farmer Rosebie Morton joined the team at SheerLuxe to guide them through how to make a wreath using a natural moss base.

Rosebie;s Top Tips For Decorating For Christmas
- Don’t start too early, but do forage for things like Old Man’s Beard – if you spray it with hairspray, it will keep. If you are lucky enough still to have rosehips, pick them while they are plump and place them in water and glycerine to preserve them.
- A door wreath is a must for welcoming everyone to your house – you can make your own or discover our collection of handmade wreaths here.
- Go for a walk anywhere you might find fir cones and fill your pockets. Then pile them into a big hurricane lamp and place them on the table with a candle.
- Plant or buy indoor bulbs such as Paperwhites or Amaryllis and Hyacinths to add scent and colour.
- I like to use beautiful, understated glass flower tubes placed low along the table and filled with trailing ivy, seed heads and holly berries – this way you can talk to the person opposite you but still enjoy the festive decorations. You can shop our flower tubes here.
